On Saturday the 29th of August, my piece "Dandelion Frolic" was on display at Rhizome in Takoma Park, DC, as part of poet and filmmaker Jenn Koiter's interdisciplinary project "Graftings", where poets, artists, and filmmakers created work inspired by one another.

Like an artistic game of Telephone, the project started with a poem, that then went to a visual artist who created something inspired by it, that then went to a poet who wrote a poem, etc. After the 4 poets and 4 artists had created their work, 4 filmmakers created short films based on a pair of poetry and art.

Attendance was impressive and there were two requests for future showings of our work! When more is known, I will share.

In the meantime, here is "Dandelion Frolic", an acrylic and colored pencil piece on a wooden panel, 16" x 12". And, yes, I designed the logo, too. :)
